I’m not much of a poet—really, anything I consider “poetry” sounds like absolute trash, and realistically I should stay far away from writing poetry to not soil its good name. The poetry I tend to write comes across more like raw thoughts (to me, at least).
Here are two micro poems—titled “Micro Poem #1” and “Micro Poem #2” (how creative)—I shared once when I was on social media.
MICRO POEM #1
My reflection stares back,
a bitter soul,
wishing more from life.
MICRO POEM #2
She’s ready for the epilogue.
I’m still stuck in the second act.
